Terms of Service — User Rights & Agreement

Last updated: April 19, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using onHover (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

onHover is a browser extension that provides web inspection, color picking, screenshot, recording, SEO audit, and related developer tools. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time.

Features are divided into free and Pro tiers. The free tier is available to all users without a subscription. Pro features require an active paid license and become unavailable if your license expires or is revoked. We reserve the right to adjust which features belong to each tier at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at [email protected] if you discover any unauthorized access or use of your account.

4. Licenses

Each license grants the right to activate onHover on a single device. Licenses are non-transferable except by deactivating an existing device through your dashboard. Sharing licenses across devices outside this process is not permitted.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's terms. All prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes.

Paddle handles all payment processing, fraud prevention, and tax remittance on our behalf. If you have a question about a charge on your statement, contact us first — we can often resolve billing questions directly. For disputes handled through your bank or card issuer, we will work with Paddle to provide the necessary documentation.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code; (b) resell or redistribute the Service; (c) use the Service to violate any law or third-party rights; (d) interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.

You also agree not to use the Service to automate or scrape websites in violation of their terms of service, to harvest personal data from third-party sites, or to perform any activity that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure. onHover is intended for individual developer and designer use during normal browsing and development sessions.

7. Intellectual Property

onHover and all related content, trademarks, and code are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these terms.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Contact
